Hurricane Harvey Relief

Tropical Storm Harvey strengthened into a Category 4 Hurricane and made landfall in Texas around 9:45pm on Friday, August 25th. 130 mph winds and devastating amounts of rain affected the state’s Gulf Coast from Corpus Christi to Houston and inland to Austin and San Antonio.

Tens of thousands of people fled their homes and traveled to nearby shelters looking for help. Rain continues to fall, but soon the recovery efforts will begin, and YOUR help is desperately needed…

Families will need help gutting their houses and salvaging their possessions. Aid organizations will need help distributing water, meals, tarps and more. Shelters will need assistance organizing people and resources. As you can see from our pictures, Real Impact teams have already been hard at work serving the people of Houston, and we look forward to hosting more teams!
