Mission Trip to Guatemala

Wednesday morning started with Aaron sharing his testimony. So many students related to his story and were blessed to know their Father in Heaven loves them and doesn’t reject them as their earthly father does.

Meet Mario, Mario and Mario!

Sarah, we will not call the Fire Department for you if you get stuck in that tree!
image3 (3)Mina shared her testimony on Friday morning and did a great job. She had her audience captivated.
image4 (2)This week has been exhausting but such an incredible blessing to see God move among His people. He is using us to speak directly to their hearts and we have seen hundreds come to know Jesus as their own personal Savior.

Blessings,

Team Guatemala

Independence Day in Guatemala!

Independence Day in Guatemala!

To celebrate Guatemalan Independence Day, our ministry partners shared how teaching the Bible is impacting public schools. Throughout 2016, RIM teams offered community service, evangelism and medical clinics to help spread the Gospel in Ciudad Quetzal.

Restoring Vision thru Medical Missions

Restoring Vision thru Medical Missions

In recent months, her eyesight grew so poor that she could no longer see the stitches she needed to make, and she had to give up her job – the only income she had for her family. When she arrived at our clinic, we realized we could help!

Saving Lives in Ciudad Quetzal

Saving Lives in Ciudad Quetzal

On day one, our doctors performed a few minor surgeries, and our team treated many people with high blood pressure, a lot of children with fevers, and one woman with dangerously high blood sugar. We literally saved her life!

Prayer Prevails

Prayer Prevails

We decided to leave one team member outside every classroom to cover it in prayer. One missionary told us that during his time of prayer he felt something crawling on his neck…

Inadequate Tools

Inadequate Tools

Saturday morning, we set off to build a fence for one of the schools where we had ministered. We ate a hardy breakfast and then enthusiastically began the work project. What you might not realize though is that some of the biggest challenges in developing countries are the little things… In this instance, inadequate tools…

Fortitude & Tenacity

Fortitude & Tenacity

This team’s fortitude and tenacity are amazing!! No matter what people felt like, our entire team headed out the door for a day of ministry. We shared and went into classrooms to talk with the students. One entire classroom enthusiastically gave their lives to Christ. Many others invited Jesus into their hearts!

Outreach in Guatemalan Schools

Outreach in Guatemalan Schools

VIDEO – During RIM’s two week trip, teams focus on strategic evangelism in public high schools. We partner with local contacts to elevate the work they are already doing, and we stand amazed at the BIG ways God shows up!!
