We’re alive and well in Phitsanulok, Thailand!
The team is staying in a guest house not far from the home of our host, Taa. Taa is a full-time Thai missionary. We had a great first day in his village. It’s rainy season, and it was a beautiful pleasant rain throughout the morning and afternoon. The day started out with culture orientation and language lessons, led by Taa, and worship and prayer time. After lunch in the village, we helped clean up a garden area at the guest house.
Tomorrow is the first day we’ll interact with lots of people at a school with 116 students. The team will have opportunities to minister while teaching English, doing our drama and dance, and playing games.
Everyone seems healthy and is getting along well together. A bit of jet lag, but we’re moving through it together.
All the team is excited about what God is doing here now!
